Bio

Jake Hebbert grew up on a cattle ranch in rural Nebraska. He was trained in the craft of bronze as a studio assistant to sculptor William Davis. After learning from Davis, Jake started to make his own sculptures. When Davis passed away Hebbert decided to returned to finish school at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He went on to work in the special effects industry at Legacy Effects. Pre-pandemic Jake Hebbert was engaging with the world through artist residencies in Japan, New Zealand, Nebraska, Mississippi and Nevada. Jake is currently studying the classics at the Graduate Institute of Saint John’s College in Santa Fe, NM.
