Bio

I grew up on a cattle ranch in rural Nebraska. I was taught the craft of bronze as a studio assistant to sculptor William Davis. After learning from Davis, I started to make his own sculptures. When Davis passed away I decided to returned to finish school at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Pre-pandemic I was engaging with the world through artist residencies in Japan, New Zealand, Nebraska, Mississippi and Nevada.

I came to Santa Fe to study at is Saint John’s College. Currently I work at the Santa Fe Institute, as program coordinator for SFI Press.
